Chemistry is important. You to get along with an adviser. By their nature financial advisers are essentially salesman so they should be charming but you should not let this cloud your judgement. You are going to discuss your goals and aspirations with someone so it makes sense for you to have some kind of chemistry. It also makes sense for you to be of a similar age or at least within 10 years of the person you are going to take advice from.
