La BarbacoaRefurbishment started late 2003 and we re-opened in December 2003The whole job has now exceeded £1/2 million! The works take Barbacoa (now in it's 25th year) into the next decade. We have lost one or two old faces, who preferred the grotty dingy old place, but we have made lots of new friends who share our vision for the future! Nearly 2000 pubs (which have not kept up with the times) have closed in the NorthWest in the last 3 years..... Doesn't that say something? We think so! We are constantly striving to provide the best bar & restaurant & function room in the area. We have probably achieved this now, but areas have been identified as being in need of a rethink! The upstairs bar for example is currently having a new back bar fitted and some walls are being toned down to create a more relaxing feel to the whole place. We hope you enjoy what we have done so far... there is still more to come! Functions...
