The London Carriage Works

The London Carriage Works: modern international food, complemented by the use of local, organic and fresh seasonal produce.

Situated in the cultural quarter of the city, between the two cathedrals, The London Carriage Works acquired its name when during construction works the original sign above the restaurant doors became apparent in the stonework. The building, built in the 1860s in the style of a grand Venetian Palazzo, used to be the home of a coach and carriage builders, and now houses both the restaurant and its sister operation, the highly acclaimed new Hope Street Hotel.
